Early in her career, she supported the Canada Winter Games in an administrative role, gaining valuable experience in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

With a background in construction, Sonja brings a practical, solutions-oriented mindset to her work. Since joining Shajani CPA, she has expanded her expertise in file management, client communication, billing, and collections—ensuring smooth and timely service across multiple touchpoints.

Sonja also has a strong personal interest in contract law, which has sparked a growing knowledge of minute books and corporate compliance. She’s always looking for opportunities to improve systems and processes and is passionate about contributing to continuous improvement within the firm.
