Roslyne Smyth is a dedicated Client Manager at Shajani CPA, based in our Red Deer office. Since joining the firm in 2019 as an Accounting Technician and quickly being promoted to Client Manager in 2020, Roslyne has taken the lead on managing full-cycle accounting for a diverse range of clients. Her responsibilities include monthly and quarterly bookkeeping, GST filings, payroll, year-end financial statements, and both corporate and personal tax returns.
With a certificate in Human Resource Management and recognition as a QBO Advanced ProAdvisor, Roslyne brings a strong blend of technical knowledge and practical expertise to every client interaction. She is proficient in tools such as CaseWare, TaxPrep, Profile, Sage 50, and Microsoft Office, and serves as the QuickBooks Online administrator for the firm.
Roslyne’s background includes both accounting administration and small business ownership, giving her a deep understanding of the challenges clients face. Her strengths lie in problem-solving, attention to detail, and adaptability. She’s known for her ability to resolve issues efficiently and for consistently delivering accurate, timely service.
A strong communicator and proactive team player, Roslyne supports Shajani CPA’s mission by fostering long-term client relationships built on trust, clarity, and professionalism. She believes in providing year-round support, not just during tax season, and takes pride in helping clients feel confident in their financial decision-making.
Before transitioning into accounting, Roslyne was a journeyman hairstylist and salon owner. Outside the office, she enjoys sewing and designing custom bags and purses—a creative outlet that reflects her eye for detail and craftsmanship.
